What to do in Pendine

First and foremost as you may now know the Caravan itself is located on the Parkdean Holidays Caravan Site which means you will get access to all the facilities they have to offer. Local Facilities

The site itself consists of 3 sections, ours is the first section which is a 5-10 minute walk from the main village. In our section we have a small pub, a playground and a duck pond, this is also the main reception entrance. The middle section is where the majority of the caravans are sited and the third section is situated in the main part of the village. While it doesn't have as many Caravans as our section and the middle section it is home to the Venue. The Venue is the Main Clubhouse where the entertainment, restaurant, swimming pool and arcades are all located. All 3 sections are adjacent to eachother and is probably a 5-10 minute walk from one end to the other.

As well as this there are also some other facilities in Pendine Village:

• Two shops - Premier and Costcutter.
• Two takeaways - Indian and a VERY nice Fish and Chip shop.
• Very nice Italian Restaurant and Some Cafes
• A few pubs. Recommend the Duck Inn which is on site 2 minute walk.
• And also a Launderette and Some Gift Shops.
• Pendine is also Home to the Museum of Speed
• And of course, theres the beach!

The Closest village to Pendine is then Laugharne, this then has more of the same in Pendine and a Beach, you will probably pass through Laugharne on you way to Pendine and is about a 10-15 minute drive away.

Other Places to Visit

Pendine is just one of several small villages in Camarthen in close proximity to Tenby, a country lane just through Pendine village will take you to all these other places and a 10 minutes drive will get you to Saundersfoot. A 20 minute drive will get you Tenby. At both Tenby and Saundersfoot, these are both very busy towns with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and of course beaches. Carmarthen is also a 20-30 minute drive away, there you will find some of the larger supermarkets and plenty of shops.

Tenby and Saundersfoot are also the main nightlife spots with plenty of pubs and bars with Saundersfoot being home to the main nightclub - Sands. A taxi to these places would be about £8-£10 to Saundersfoot and £15-£18 to Tenby.
